In my previous post I talked about the design im doing for the necklace of daisies, which brought to mind another piece associated with this flower. The sketch I did during my studies at the CADJ (Center for Art and Jewelry Design), a gold and silver brooch with a pearl and sapphire star-shaped.

El broche esta inspirado en el poema de Rubén Darío a Margarita Debayle. Es para mi es muy especial ya que fue uno de los primeros poemas que aprendí cuando era niña (por encargo directo de mi papá) y cuenta la historia de una princesa que un día decide robarse una estrella. Para aquellos que no lo conozcan es un realmente hermoso y lleno de imágenes fantásticas.

The brooch is inspired by the poem of Rubén Dario To Margarita Debayle. It is very special for me as it was one of the first poems that I learned as a child (by direct order from my dad) and tells the story of a princess who one day decides to steal a star. For those who do not know it's a really beautiful and full of fantastic images.
